A Missouri DNR inspector visited Chaffee on Tuesday. After checking water quality, he found little to no chlorine in the system and issued a boil-water advisory.

The Chaffee Drive In was among the city business that alerted customers to the boil-water order issued Tuesday afternoon. The order will remain in effect until the city has two full days of tests that show appropriate levels of chlorine throughout the city.
