Polar Bear Plunge

Three inches of ice were removed from Lake Boutin before swimmers for Special Olympics of Southeast Missouri's third annual Polar Bear Plunge could make a splash!

Blattman, of Dexter High School, said that his shoes filled with water and slowed him down as he tried to exit the frigid waters.
