Veterans Day began and ended in Cape Girardeau county with outdoor community celebrations of veterans and their service. In the morning, the loved ones of 11 different veterans gathered at the Veterans Memorial Plaza in Cape County Park North and each had the opportunity to speak about their veteran. Later in the day, Jackson held their annual Veteran’s Day parade with people lined along the sides of S. High St. and W. Main St.
