For the first time, the Big BAM (Bicycle Across Missouri) stopped in Cape Girardeau. More than a hundred cyclists set up camp at Arena Park after cycling from Sikeston earlier on Tuesday. The entire trip encompasses 300-miles in Southeast Missouri, from Poplar Bluff to St. Genevieve, over five days. Pork Belly Adventures provided tents, showers and a portable motel. There were two local food trucks and bicycle services from Cape Bicycle. There was also a shuttle that provided transportation to downtown Cape Girardeau.
