Ice Block Racing
Buy a block of ice. Carry it up the hill. Slide down on it. Repeat as long as you have ice on a hot summer day in Marble Hill.

FRED LYNCH ~ flynch@semissourian.com Alexis Allhands loses control of her ice block on a hill at Pellegrino Park in Marble Hill during the third annual ice block racing event June 27. Proceeds from the event that was sponsored by Christmas in the Foothills will go toward building a community stage at Magnolia Park. The organization has raised nearly half of its $7,000 goal.
