David Ledure and his wife Sharon have been carving avidly since the early 1990s.

Sharon Ledure's "Bunny's Bedtime Story" took first place in the instructor assisted class of the 2009 International Woodcarvers Congress.  Ledure based the carving off of photos taken of her granddaughter reading to a bunny.  Ledure worked on the carving sporadically over roughly five years.
