Published March 29, 1992. Hank Mellone, right, was back as the owner of Eggimann Feed and Seed, 514 Indepencence St., which he owned from 1985-1990. He was shown with employee John Burgfeld, left, and his wife, Norma, and friend, Roy the Rooster. The business was established in 1926. Published March 27, 1992. Cape Girardeau City Council candidate Dr. Melvin C. Kasten, second from right, responded to a question during the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum at City Hall. Candidates were given a two-minute opening statement, responded to questions and closed with a one-minute statement. Candidates from left were R.
