Fall and its multi-colored foliage is bringing out visitors to scenic spots in this area, one of the best of which is Trail of Tears State Park which daily has hundreds of visitors, like this group of girls making up Brownie Troop 59 of the Girl Scouts from Trinity Lutheran Church. Future development of Trail of Tears, and other Missouri parks, will hinge directly on voter approval Tuesday of Amendment No. 3. The troop is a new one. The girls and their leaders, Mrs. Walter Maevers and Mrs. Albert Lunsford, are shown in one of the most scenic spots in the park near the Mississippi River overlook, and from the left, besides the leaders, are Karen Maevers, Barbara Seibel, Patti Birk, Frances Lemonds, Janet Tuhfmann, Sara Taylor, Susan Haertling, Linda Martin, (hidden), Ruth Ellen Bertling and Donna Lunsford.
