More mysteries await in this, our second mystery photo gallery. All of the images were taken by longtime photographer G.D. "Frony" Fronabarger, but none are dated or identified. This photo by G.D. Fronabarger was published May 25, 1963 in the Southeast Missourian. Here is the caption: “Weight forward.” From left, Nancy Meyers, Martha Mahy, Mrs. Max Cordonnier, Mrs. W.R. Withers and Mrs. William C. Baum, who teaches the other women ballet in an adult class.

This photo by G.D. Fronabarger was not published in the Southeast Missourian. The woman holding the wig, standing at left, is Jo Ann Bock, the reporter who wrote the story. Here is the caption for the published photo: Jan. 25, 1963 Southeast Missourian Smiling her approval of this French twist hair fashion, and wishing it were her own wig, Mrs. Noel J. Fischer, 420 North Sunset, models a silver blonde hair piece (costing about $75). The beautician, Mrs. Mary Niswonger, is wearing a human hair switch (ginger shade) to match her short hair. Aug. 20, 1958 Southeast Missourian. Barbie Macke Stroder sent in information on the girl grillers: "This is a picture of my mother Bonnie Macke and the Gordonville 4-H foods group. Pictured from left to right are Bonnie Macke (leader), Pamela Macke, Judy (Volkerding) Wendel, Katy (Doering) Kester, Janet (Lorberg) Fiedler, and Alberta (Macke) Dougan. The picture was taken in 1958. We enjoyed seeing the picture."

Published May 19, 1956. Youngsters start early in Cape learning about garden care. This kindergarten group, supervised by Miss Louise M. Gross at College Training School, are weeding and trimming out the flower beds. In the photo are Tom Otto, John Sheds, John Rueseler, Walter Lamkin, Fred Naeter, Cynthia Schoss and Martha Vogel. From Judy Sneathen: The playground was next to what is now Brandt Music Hall. These flowers were planted in front of the playground. The "gum tree" there now would have been a part of her garden. I attended her kindergarten for both 4 and 5 year olds, however, I do not recognize any of the children in the picture."

Tractors lined the basketball court in the Arena Building in the background of this photograph. Judging by the produce arrayed on the folding tables, it may have had something to do with the SEMO District Fair.
