A doll house and contents that has survived four generations of a family. Mrs. W.R. Thompson, 1725 Good Hope street, explains a doll house and the miniature furnishings to visitors to the old Thilenius dwelling during the garden tour Sunday. She is a great-granddaughter of Col. G.C. Thilenius, who erected the fine old dwelling, and visitors were amazed at the finely made replicas of antique furniture the doll house contains. (G.D. Fronabarger/Southeast Missourian archive)
