G.D. Fronabarger left the Missourian with boxes and boxes of negatives. What he didn't leave were IDs for them. Pictures of the Past features some of Frony's images we've partially identified. We're hoping you can help fill in the blanks. Contact librarian Sharon Sanders at ssanders@semissourian.com, if you recognize a place or a face. Mystery Galleries may still be viewed on our History Page, http://www.semissourian.com/history/

Harvest of the big Elberta peach crop in Cape County has reached its peak and is beginning to taper off. Picking was still in full swing today, and by this weekend most of the trees will have been stripped of their fruit. The above scene is typical of the activity at the orchards. In the background, left to right, are George Phillips and Milton Kurre of the Groves organization looking over some fine peaches at the Fred A. Groves orchard, Cape Rock Drive. (G.D.
