Pictures of the Past #64

G.D. Fronabarger left the Missourian boxes and boxes of negatives. What he didn't leave were IDs for them. Pictures of the Past features some of Frony's images we've partially identified. Published July 23, 1958. C-Jo's Toppy, a rather expensive pet, and her 6-week-old colt were admired by Bob Redwine, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Redwine, 846 Karau Lane. The Redwines purchased Toppy in 1958 for a reported $7,500. The mare was a full sister to champion Shetland pony C-Jo's Topper, which sold for $56,000.

Trustees of the newly-built Third Baptist Church, Lynwood at Randol, gathered on the steps of the sanctuary with the pastor in October 1962. From the left are: Gene Ellis, Glenn Ford, Myron Anderson, Leonard Dollman, chairman, and Bill Jones, with the Rev. Floyd Lacy. The church later became Lynwood Baptist Church.
