13 arrested in Stoddard Co. drug sweep

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- A countywide drug sweep late Thursday and early Friday brought in 13 people accused of distribution and possession of illegal drugs.

Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner reported several arrests following a lengthy investigation by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department and the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force into drug activity in the county.

Among the drugs seized in the bust were marijuana, illegal prescription drugs and cocaine.

A combined operation involving members of the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, Stoddard County Juvenile Office, Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Missouri Division of Children's Services yielded the following arrests on felony warrants:

John "Kacy" Jones of Dexter, Mo., was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance (marijuana). Bond has been set at $150,000 cash only.

Casey Hernandez of Dexter was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance (marijuana). Bond has been set at $50,000 cash only.

Amanda R. McCoy of Dudley, Mo., was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $75,000 cash only.

Travis C. Davis of Dexter was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $125,000 cash only.

Moria C. Voss of Dexter was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $125,000 cash only.

Phillip J. Sanders of Bloomfield, Mo., was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (two counts). Bond was set at $75,000 cash only.

Rhonda Duncan of Brownwood, Mo., was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, felony possession of a controlled substance and felony distribution of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $125,000 cash only.

Ronnie D. Duncan of Brownwood was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, felony possession of a controlled substance and felony distribution of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $125,000 cash only.

Shawn T. Mitchell of Dexter was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $125,000 cash only.

Robert Pink of Brownwood was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and felony possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone). Bond has been set at $125,000 cash only.

Sandra K. Bayless of Dexter was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance (two counts). Bond has been set at $75,000 cash only.

Marsha Barker of Miner, Mo., was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $75,000 cash only.

Christopher J. Layton of Dexter was charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance (two counts). Bond has been set at $125,000 cash only.
