Authorities believe Tillman and 26-year-old Ashly Bonner lured Taylor earlier that evening to the woman's Granite City home in an effort to rob him. Investigators say Taylor was hit over the head and shot multiple times when a struggle ensued.

Tillman and Bonner are charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and aggravated battery. It wasn't immediately known whether they have attorneys.

Both suspects are being held without bail.
