Cape Girardeau County authorities have arrested three men in connection with a June 21 home-invasion burglary.
Jacob B. Colyott, 18, Aaron M. Denson, 21, and William A. Artadi, 20, all of Jackson are charged with first-degree burglary in an incident that took place about 4:30 a.m. on Fairview Drive in Cape Girardeau.
The men were being held on $20,000 bond Wednesday in the county jail.
The victim reported the suspects broke a window and were walking around in the house with flashlights and said they had a gun when confronted by the homeowner, the sheriff's department said in a news release.
Jackson, Cape Girardeau and county law enforcement agencies are investigating a large number of car break ins and residential burglaries that have occurred over the summer, the release said. A reward was offered earlier in the year for the arrest and conviction of suspects. Additional arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues, authorities said.
Some electronics and weapons have been recovered from the crimes under investigation.
Jeffrey D. Murry, 27, of Burfordville, Mo., was arrested last week on suspicion of first-degree burglary in an incident that occurred on County Road 347.
Murry posted bond and was released from custody.
