SIKESTON, Mo. -- A 14-year-old girl was injured in a vehicle accident on the Sikeston Walmart parking lot Tuesday night. SIKESTON, Mo. -- A 14-year-old girl was injured in a vehicle accident on the Sikeston Walmart parking lot Tuesday night.

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety received a call at 8:39 p.m. regarding a girl being pinned between two cars.

According to the report a motorist, who is not being named at this time, was backing up and pressed on the gas pedal and the brake, pushing two cars together and trapping the girl. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries and released.

DPS officials said the accident remains under investigation, and the driver could face charges.
