ACCIDENT KNOCKS OUT POWER POLE
A vehicle accident Monday at the corner of Spanish and Morgan Oak knocked a power pole askew, snapping a power line. The accident occurred at 5:50 p.m. and was caused by a driver cutting the corner too close, Cape Girardeau police said. Only the power to the street light was affected.
