Emergency personnel search for the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck driven more than 20 miles north in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 before crashing near the 111 mile marker and fleeing on foot into the woods near the Cape County Cowboy Church on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, east of Oak Ridge, Missouri. A body found near mile marker 88 was identified as Claude L. Nix, 42, of Jackson, Tennessee. Law enforcement deployed K-9 units and aerial search units, but the search was suspended in the late afternoon and the suspect was not apprehended.
