Norb Plassmeyer, vice president and director of Associated Industries of Missouri, will speak at the Southeast Missouri Area Pachyderm Club Friday.
The club, an official auxiliary of the Republican National Committee, will meet at noon at Port Cape Girardeau.
Plassmeyer will discuss tort-reform legislation under consideration by the General Assembly.
Associated Industries is a 1,400-member organization representing Missouri business. Plassmeyer, a former member of the Missouri House of Representatives, is responsible for legislative activity on environmental issues, economic development, tort reform and other issues.
