FARMINGTON, Mo. (AP) - An eastern Missouri police chief is recovering after his sport utility vehicle was struck by a suspected drunken driver.
The Park Hills Daily Journal reports that Leadington chief Rick Pogue was driving on Missouri 72 early Saturday when his SUV was struck on the side by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup was arrested later in Farmington on suspicion of drunken driving. Pogue was treated at a hospital but expected to fully recover.
