Heather Brianna Womick, 15, of Anna recently studied and toured in New York City. She is the daughter of Paul and Darla Womick.

While in New York, she attended the Broadway Dance Center last month, where she studied ballet with several prominent teachers from the American Ballet Theatre and Joffrey Ballet studio.

Womick, a sophomore at Notre Dame High School, has been dancing for 11 years. She has been studying pointe for five years.

She also toured Planet Hollywood, the David Letterman studio and the Statue of Liberty while in New York.
