Armed man apprehended

A Poplar Bluff, Mo. man was apprehended early Thursday at a Cape Girardeau residence where he had been waving around a hand-gun and threatening to kill himself, police say.

Everett Way, 46, was arrested and charged with the class D misdemeanor of unlawful use of a weapon. He remained in custody Thursday at the Cape Girardeau Police Department on a $7,500 bond.
