According to Sheriff Larry E. Turley, Ramon Escamilla-Bautista, 33, was pronounced dead at approximately 6:40 a.m. by Mississippi County Coroner Terry Parker.

"We are hoping the autopsy will give us some information," said Don Chance, administrator for the detention center.

A report will be filed once the autopsy determines the exact cause of death.
