ROSS, Pa. -- A contractor removed a beeping alarm clock that's been inside a family's wall vent for nearly 14 years. Low-Cost Heating and Air Conditioning went to the home and removed the clock. Homeowner Jerry Lynn said he tied the battery-operated clock to a string in 2004 and lowered it inside the wall so the beeping alarm would pinpoint where he needed to drill for a TV cable. The clock fell off the string and has beeped each day. A corroded battery still was powering the clock.
