BENTON MAN HURT IN VEHICLE WRECK
PUXICO, Mo. -- A Benton, Mo., man was injured Monday near Puxico. Dennis Wilkerson, 56, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by helicopter after the 11:31 a.m. accident. It occurred on Highway 51, just south of Puxico. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Wilkerson's vehicle went off the left side of the road attempting to avoid a southbound vehicle that turned into his path...
