An expanded structure at 3014 Blattner has been designed to house five state offices.

"We've added 20,000 square feet to an existing structure there," said Larry Westrich, director of leasing for Drury Development Corp.

Disability Determination, a division of Vocational Rehabilitation of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, moved to a 6,000 square foot building at 3014 Blattner two years ago.

That agency will be joined by the following offices:

Missouri Department of Education's Hearing & Appeal Unit, from 1225 N. Kingshighway.

Missouri Department of Revenue, from 1436 Mt. Auburn Road.

Missouri Workers Compensation Division, from 2611 Gerhardt.

The Paternity Unit of the Missouri Division of Child Support.

Some of the departments will share various facilities in the building.

The Disabilities Determination and Hearing & Appeals units will both be located on the upper level, and will share meeting rooms, lounge rooms, storage space and mailroom.

The Hearing & Appeal unit will start moving July 25 and be ready to officially open Aug. 3.

"Being able to share space will eliminate duplication between the two offices," said a spokesman.

The Missouri Division of Workers Compensation will move into its new quarters the final week of July and open Aug. 1.

The workers compensation group will occupy space on the lower level of the new structure, along with the Revenue Department and Paternity Unit.
