The 20-foot-long replica of a human colon will be open for tours Friday at the Saint Francis Medical Center Health and Wellness Center from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will also be at West Park Mall Center Court on March 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. American Cancer Society human specialist Marcie Lawson said a walk through this exhibit brings to light what may actually be happening inside your stomach. Lawson said colorectal cancer is the third leading form of cancer in the U.S. in men and women today. She said it's important people get checked by age 50 with a colonoscopy, where cancer can be fully treated in its early stages. Last year, over 1,100 Missourians died of this disease.
