A robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Hamburger Express, 902 William St., Wednesday evening, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Police spokesman Jason Selzer said a female clerk who was working at the window said a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants came to the window around 6:48 p.m., and said "Let me get that money." A robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Hamburger Express, 902 William St., Wednesday evening, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

Police spokesman Jason Selzer said a female clerk who was working at the window said a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants came to the window around 6:48 p.m., and said "Let me get that money." The clerk said the robber acted like he had a gun, but did not display one.

The woman told another employee about the incident and pointed out the suspect, who was walking away, to a male employee. The man said, "let's get him," Selzer said, and the alleged robber took off running when he saw the man approach.

No one was injured. Police say they have no suspects.
