Thirty-five-year-old Jeron S. Mister will be sentenced for bank robbery in February.

Mister of Fairview Heights, Illinois, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Nov. 17 to robbing The Bank of Missouri at 3427 William St. in Cape Girardeau.

Mister's plea agreement admits to the Sept. 2 robbery and taking $4,240 by force, violence or intimidation.

The agreement also states Mister should not face imprisonment for more than 20 years for the robbery charge.

Mister entered the bank and handed a note to an employee with the message, "Give me money," according to a probable-cause statement by detective Jerry Franks.

As the employee was gathering the cash, Mister told her to hurry up or he would kill her, Franks wrote.

He then stuffed the money in his pockets and ran out of the bank, Franks wrote.
