Consent Ordinances

  • Approved an ordinance for a sales tax in the amount of one-half of one percent for the purpose of funding for storm water control and local parks to be put on the April 8 ballot.
  • Approved the record plat of Ashland Court, sixth addition.

New Ordinances

  • Accepted fee-simple interest to property adjacent to Water Plant No. 2 from Southeast Missouri Stone Co.
  • Authorized the acquisition of property for water system improvements adjacent to Water Plant No. 2.
  • Approved the record plat of Arbor Heights, fifth addition.
  • Approved the record plat of Garrett Subdivision.

Resolutions

  • Authorized the city manager to enter into the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission STP-Urban Program Agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation for the Lewis and Clark Phase II.

Appointments

  • Reappointed Shirley Patterson and appointed former member Doug Austin to the Vision 2020 Community Relations Council for terms expiring Dec. 31, 2010.
  • Reappointed Stan Wicks to the Board of Examiners for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2011.

Liquor license

  • Approved retail liquor by the drink license for Compass Group USA Inc., d/b/a Chartwells, 518 S. Fountain St., Timothy Weatherly, managing officer.

  • Approved improvement plans for streets, storm sewers, sidewalks, sanitary sewers and water main extension to serve Ashland Court subdivision, sixth addition.
