Moments from Cape Girardeau Community Art Day on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Ranney Park in Cape Girardeau. Local artist Malcolm McCrae said the event was a chance for people "to create and come together as a community to be able to celebrate each other.” The event also acted as a debut for the “Pollination Station” art bus. “We using Mother Nature as the blueprint,” McCrae said regarding the name of the bus. “Just like animals pollinate the world, we pollinate the world with positivity and good energy.” McCrae said at the beginning of August the bus will be leaving for Connecticut and will be making other stops, at places such as schools and community centers, across the country.
