Mid-South encourages, assists and promotes the rehabilitation of indigent persons or those handicapped by defective vision or hearing who might be rehabilitated through medical treatment or surgery.

Immediate past district governor Robert McKlin announced that Lions Club International Foundation approved a $10,000 grant to help the Caruthersville, Mo., tornado victims.

McKlin invited the Cape club to the Ste. Genevieve club's 75-year anniversary in June.
