A Cape Girardeau native will appear Friday on an episode of the syndicated TV game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." The show's publicist, Trisha Miller, sent out a news release Monday saying that 42-year-old Gina Steimle, a bartender from St. Louis, will appear on an episode of "Millionaire" to be broadcast at 4:30 p.m. Friday. "Millionaire" is the syndicated version of the popular ABC network prime time show that ended in 2002. It's now hosted by Meredith Vieira and can be seen locally on WPSD out of Paducah, Ky. Steimle is a 1983 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and the daughter of Lucille Steimle, according to the news release. She calls herself a "game show junkie" and has auditioned for shows from "Jeopardy" to the TV version of "Trivial Pursuit."
