Padlocking old quarters for the first time in about 50 years the old police headquarters building on Frederick was padlocked as the department transferred a block west to the renovated Grace Methodist Church building. As Police Chief Percy R. Little affixes the lock, from the left, are City Commissioners J. Weldon McBride and U.G. Pettigrew, City Attorney Raymond H. Vogel, Max G. Stovall and John L. Wieser and Mayor Walter H. Ford.
