CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Cape Girardeau Board of Education will meet at 7:30 tonight for its regular monthly meeting.

Among items on the agenda are a discussion of changes in the performance based teacher evaluations and formation of a committee to study "at-risk" student needs.

The board meets at 61 North Clark and the meeting is open to the public.

A closed meeting of the board is scheduled following the regular session. The closed portion is being called to discuss legal matters and the hiring, firing, disciplining and promoting of employees, the school administration said.
