Rodney Roberts and 3-year-old Whitney were shown at the Wills farm north of Millersville. The 200-acre farm, leased by the Roberts, was homesteaded by David H. Wills in 1843. It was recently honored as a Century Farm. One of the requirements of a Century Farm was that it must be owned by the same family for more than 100 years. (Southeast Missourian archive photo)

A ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday marked the official opening of Cape Girardeau's non-profit Teen Activity Center, located at the corner of East Plaza Way and Sheridan.
