Peggy A. Bullard, 55, of Jackson was southbound on Highway 25, one-half mile south of Dutchtown, when the 1994 Chevrolet she was driving crossed the center line and hit two northbound vehicles head on, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the scene and spent about 10 minutes extricating Bullard from the vehicle, said battalion chief Bob Kembel.

Bullard was transported to Southeast Missouri Hospital with serious injuries, the report said.
