The Admiral was built in 1907 and rebuilt in 1940. It won't be certified for passengers after next July without significant repairs.

Pinnacle Entertainment owns the casino and had been planning to seek permission to move it to a new location. But company officials said Tuesday they've decided instead to replace it at the same location.

Pinnacle also owns a newer casino just a few block away.
