The meeting will be held from 7-9 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Missouri Hospital. The topic of the program will be "Sensory Integration and Attention Deficit Disorder."

Attention disorders, which affect 3 to 5 percent of school-age children, involve core symptoms of impulsivity, inattention and sometimes hyperactivity. Children with the disorder may display over-sensitivity to sound, touch, movement or visual stimuli.

CHADD meets the third Monday of each month in the Harrison Room. Interested adults may attend. For information, call Julia Davis at 335-5352 or Linda Meadows at 334-7511.
