"Bicentennial Fashions" is the theme for the July 12 luncheon sponsored by Christian Women's Club of Cape Girardeau County.
The event will be held at noon at Holiday Inn. Cost is $6.50 per person. A complimentary nursery will be provided.
Guest speaker will be Cyndy Straub, teacher and seamstress from Tennessee. Music will be provided by Patricia Renard of Cape Girardeau, and Patty Mulky of Cape River Heritage Museum will show bicentennial fashions.
Luncheon and nursery reservations need to be made by July 8 by calling Linda Lummus at 334-4259.
Christian Women's Club is an inter-denominational organization and has no membership fees or dues. There are more than 2,300 chapters in the United States and Canada, and 85 chapters overseas.
