According to Bob Camp, coordinator of the event, "The event is successful because of the dedication of all those who donate their time and talents to perform, as well as those who attend and give so generously."

Cottonwood, on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University, is a Department of Mental Health facility that provides residential treatment to children, ages 6 to 17 who have emotional and behavioral problems.
