The East Side Homemakers met in the home of Helen Humes, July 16 at 1:30 p.m. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Maxine Southard had the devotional "On Love." Roll call was answered on "My First House Cleaning Project."

Marie Southard gave the program on "The Road Let's Travel" by Scott Peek. The business meeting was held by the president, Violet Reynolds. The group will go to Lambert's Aug. 20 for lunch. Cora Huffman joined the club.
