ORAN -- Rebeccah E. Nothdurft of Oran has been named a semi-finalist in the 1993-94 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.

She is one of 1,814 semi-finalists chosen from over 110,000 applicants nationwide.

Semi-finalists must complete additional candidacy materials, which will be screened by the program review committee.

If selected as one of the 150 Coca-Cola Scholars, Nothdurft would attend the national competition in April to compete for designation as a national or regional scholar.

The 50 national scholars will receive awards of $20,000 and the 100 regional scholars will receive $4,000.
