Lutheran church in Scott City to hold pig roast

Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City will hold a pig roast from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28. The menu includes roast pork, potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and drink.

A silent auction will also be held.

Chicken dinner to be held at Oran Knights hall

The Guardian Angel Home and School dinner will serve chicken and dumplings, kettle beef and fried chicken from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Oran Knights of Columbus hall.

St. Joseph's Monopoly Dinner set for October

Doors open at 5 p.m. Oct. 4 for the 12th edition of the St. Joseph's Monopoly Dinner Auction. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. The school is at 606 Sycamore in Scott City.
