A chili supper will be held in the Immaculate Conception Parish Center from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Torch Club holding chili supper Thursday
Torch Club members will hold a fund-raising chili supper from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cape Girardeau Boys and Girls Club, 232 Broadway, Cape Girardeau. Proceeds will finance the club's community, education, health, fitness and social recreation activities.
The Torch Club is a Cape Girardeau Civic Center Boys and Girls Club-sponsored leadership organization for ages 10 to 13.
Optimist Club holding spaghetti day this week
The Cape Girardeau Breakfast Optimist Club will hold its 35th annual spaghetti day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Arena Building. Dessert is extra. Tickets will be available at the door. Carry-outs will be available.
Daisy church holding family-style dinner
The New Salem United Methodist Church, Highway AA, Daisy, Mo., will serve a family-style dinner at 4 p.m. Saturday. Kettle beef and chicken dressing are on the menu. Children 5 and under eat free.
Annual cookout to be held at Bald Knob Cross

St. Augustine School holding fall dinner
A family-style dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Augustine School in Kelso. Carry-outs will be available at noon. The chicken and dumpling dinner includes baked ham, dressing and all the trimmings. Children 5 and under eat free.
Trinity Lutheran holding pork sausage supper
Whole-hog pork sausage supper will be served starting at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Parish Hall in Shawneetown, Mo. Dinner will be served family style. Children under 6 eat free.
The dinner is sponsored by Trinity LLL Men's Club and Trinity Ladies Aid.
