Millersville church holding fall supper

MILLERSVILLE, Mo. -- Millersville United Methodist Church will hold its fall supper at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The family-style meal will feature chicken dumplings, ham and sweet potatoes. Dessert and additional side dishes will also be included. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children.

Notre Dame 'Friend Raiser' will be Saturday

Notre Dame High School will be holding a "Friend Raiser" Saturday in "The Bulldog Cantina" at Deerfield Lodge. The lodge is located off of New Hopper Road on County Road 313.

The day's schedule of events includes a 5 p.m. Mass at the school, 6 p.m. cocktails, 7 p.m. Tex-Mex buffet dinner and a live band at 8 p.m. Call Bonnie Westrich at 335-6772 for tickets. Cost is $25 per person. Shuttle service will be provided from the school to the lodge.

Kettle beef and music at church dinner Oct. 12

Wesley United Methodist Church will hold a kettle beef and chicken dinner from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Hwy. 177 in Fruitland. There will be contemporary worship and praise music by Tonya Brandon and band from 4-6:30 p.m.
