CLAYTON, Mo. -- Attorney General Chris Koster is asking for court dates of May 14-15 in his lawsuit against the operator of a suburban St. Louis landfill near Lambert Airport.

Koster is seeking a preliminary injunction against Republic Services, operator of the Bridgeton Landfill. The suit alleges several environmental violations.

Operators say they are working problems at the landfill that are causing a foul odor, including adding 40 new wells to remove odor-causing gas.
