MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Four people were injured in a three-car accident that led to one arrest on U.S. 60 on Saturday night. The accident occurred at 8:20 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Robert Stoner, 49, of Dexter, Mo., was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of U.S. 60, one mile west of Morehouse. MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Four people were injured in a three-car accident that led to one arrest on U.S. 60 on Saturday night.

The accident occurred at 8:20 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Robert Stoner, 49, of Dexter, Mo., was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of U.S. 60, one mile west of Morehouse. Stoner's vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Orpal Crowe, 63, of Caruthersville, Mo., before striking another vehicle driven by Heather Gatewood, 27, of Sikeston, Mo.

Gatewood received moderate injuries and was transported to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Crowe and her passenger Samuel Crowe both received minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.

Stoner also received minor injuries and was arrested on three charges of vehicular assault. His cash-only bond was set at $75,000 and he was in the Stoddard County jail Monday morning.
