Nominations for the Otto F. Dingeldein Award will be accepted through Saturday, Oct. 1. The award will be presented at the Arts Council's annual membership meeting on Friday, Oct. 28.

Nominators may be individuals or organizations. Nominees may also be individuals or organizations who have demonstrated support of the arts or who participate in any area of the arts. The areas of support or participation include drama, writing, dance, music or visual arts.

To place a nomination send a letter of nomination stating the nominee and the nominator, along with a resume cover sheet containing the nominee's name, address and telephone number and a resume detailing participation or support.

A letter of nomination should also include a nominee's length of involvement in the arts, impact on the community and public recognition.

No name should appear on the resume. The cover sheet will allow the committee to review the nominees anonymously. Nominations received in previous years will be reviewed each year. Updated information is encouraged.

Nominations should be sent to the Dingeldein Committee, Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts, P.O. Box 901, Cape Girardeau, Mo.
