DRIVERS SUSTAIN MODERATE INJURIES IN PERRY COUNTY

PERRYVILLE -- A Marble Hill woman and a St. Charles man sustained moderate injuries Wednesday afternoon when their vehicles collided on Highway 51 about 4 miles south of Interstate 55.

Joyce A. Womack, 53, of Marble hill, 53, and Kevin P. Trostel, 38, of St. Charles were taken to Perry County Hospital after the 2:15 accident.

A spokeswoman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said Trostel's northbound vehicle drove into the southbound lane, striking Womack's vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
